Where we go

Lander, Wyoming is a special place; in large part due to the vast public lands and the variety of trails & terrain immediately surrounding the town. Lander is positioned in the foothills of the Wind River Range; so we have prime access to alpine trails and roads that weave among the pines, as well as high-elevation desert environments. This variety allows our guides to select trails that are in good riding shape all throughout the year.

Sinks Canyon

Home to Lander’s famous Brewers Trail, Sinks Canyon boasts great trails for every level of rider or runner. Just a quick shuttle from town, Sinks is a beautiful canyon flanked by limestone walls within the Shoshone National Forest and is considered to be the Gateway to the Wind River Range. Through the canyon, the middle fork of the Popo Agie River (pronounced: Pa-po-zuh) swiftly flows out of the mountains and sets the stage for such an awesome experience riding these high mountain trails. The season kicks off in mid-June to an incredible display of mountain wildflowers and ends in mid-October with crisp temperatures accented by the bright yellow of fall Aspen leaves and the snow covered peaks of the Wind River Range as the backdrop.

Johnny Behind the Rocks

Ribbons of singletrack along red rocky ridges, views of the Wind River Range, and a surprise twist to discover a waterfall all contribute to this trailsystem being named by the BLM as one of the Top 20 Mountain Biking opportunities in the US. This area is exceptional for spring and fall riding or trail-running; the trails have just enough challenge to keep you on your toes, yet are smooth and flowy enough to put you into the zone of pure bliss.
